Fujitsu Semiconductor Europe GmbH awarded
»Top Job 2009«

Fujitsu Semiconductor Europe GmbH (FSEU) is one of the 100 best employers among Germany's small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This results from the latest "Top Job" survey, a nationwide, corporate-benchmarking competition encompassing all sectors of the economy which is conducted by the University of St. Gallen.

Duisburg, Germany, 30.01.2009 - Wolfgang Clement, Germany's former minister of economics and mentor of the "Top Job" initiative, presents FSEU with the prestigious "Top Job" seal of approval at a ceremony in Duisburg-Nord Industrial Landscape Park. The study analyses in a two-stage process the management instruments used in the human resources environment and takes a close look at their efficiency with the help of an employee survey.

The initiative recognises FSEU's achievements in the categories of Leadership & Vision, Family Awareness & Demography, Motivation & Dynamism, Employee Development & Prospects, Culture & Communication and Internal Entrepreneurship. The judges were impressed by the company's successful approach to human resources (HR) management as integral part of the corporate business strategy.

"Top Job" employers have proven individually tailored HR strategies and a strong sense of responsibility towards their employees. They encourage professional and personal development of each individual and are commercially more successful.

FSEU's Senior Director HR & Business Support Services, Axel Tripkewitz, comments on "Top Job" in an interview with biz-AWARDS.
