BestPers Award 2009

FSEU receives award for its HR activities

Participating in the BestPers Competition for the second time, FSEU has yet again been honored for its top-quality human resources work. The BestPers certification is based on a study in companies with between 20 and 5,000 employees by a jury of experts from the worlds of science and business. The standards are very high: the certificate is only awarded to those who meet strict criteria in a total of ten assessment categories: strategy & vision; personnel recruitment; personnel development; leadership & communication; remuneration; human capital management; computerization; family friendliness; diversity; and sustainability.

In the overall ranking, FSEU achieved podium position no. 3 out of 46 prize winners nationwide. Moreover, it's listed among the TOP10 companies in eight out of the ten categories. Explicit honors were conferred to FSEU for its strategy & vision, personnel recruitment (rank 3) and human capital management (rank 2). For leadership & communication, FSEU even won the outstanding first prize.

The panel of judges led by Prof. Dr. Christian Scholz of the University of Saarland particularly appreciated FSEU's future orientation and its credibility. According to Axel Tripkewitz, Senior Director HR & Business Support Services, who received the award at a ceremony in Saarbrücken, "the award will motivate us to pursue consistently the course we ’re on – identifying those new HR developments which fit us, putting them into practice and thus leveraging the talents of our people.”
